...INSTANT PARTY...

I woke up this morning with that distinctive low resonating howl that hounds have, aside from the usual hustle and bustle of the daily household help's routine. Desperately trying to go back to sleep though unsuccessful, I peeled myself off the bed and headed straight to the computer... Hmm, who could be be on-line at 7:15 in the morning?

Knowing that I still had a few hours to spare before my physical therapy session, and not to mention the grumbling sound of my tummy, I called for my yaya who was, apparently unavailable bringing my son to school, to prepare my breakfast. Waiting waiting... Finally, the scent of my breakfast filled the air... yum. After consuming my sumptuous meal, my eyes heavily droop down... sleep.. I need sleep. Instead, I ask my yaya to massage my tired feet and legs from the weekends' non-stop affairs. Give me 10 more minutes, I repeat to my yaya. Just 10 more minutes.

Next thing I know I was rushing out of the house making business deliveries and making it my PT session with more than enough time to spare. Haaay.... I then get a call from Lyka, my neighbor inviting for yet another eating spree at her place to make up for not showing up Saturday. This time all the kids were invited. Lyka prepared kiddie spaghetti, Amber's Pancit, BBQ, and I brough leftover from the dreaded Chicken Imperial incident. June came with ensaimada bread that was to die for. When will we ever stop eating???

I then had to rush home to prepare and cook dinner for my dad who wanted Pisto and BBQ Spareribs for dinner. Everything turned out well. Luis, not being able to do his assignments earlier on had to finish his work after dinner. Thank God there was not much to do. Meaning Luis was more than capable of doing his homework himself. Then I hear the doorbell ring, it's my mother back from her Bangkok trip...hmm. I then retreated back to my room and was able to catch the movie, Before Sunset...sigh.

Poems and Songs taken from the movies...
...BEFORE SUNRISE...
'Daydream, delusion, limousine, eyelash
Oh baby with your pretty face
Drop a tear in my wineglass
Look at those big eyes
See what you mean to me
Sweet-cakes and milkshakes
I'm delusion angel
I'm fantasy parade
I want you to know what I think
Don't want you to guess anymore
You have no idea where I came from
We have no idea where we're going
Latched in life
Like branches in a river
Flowing downstream
Caught in the current
I'll carry you
You'll carry me
That's how it could be
Don't you know me?
Don't you know me by now?'
...BEFORE SUNSET...

'Let me sing you a waltz
Out of nowhere, out of my thoughts
Let me sing you a waltz
About this one night stand
You were, for me, that night
Everything I always dreamt of in life
But now you're gone
You are far gone
All the way to your island of rain
It was for you just a one night thing
But you were much more to me, just so you know
I don't care what they say
I know what you meant for me that day
I just want another try,
I just want another night
Even if it doesn't seem quite right
You meant for me much more than anyone I've met before
One single night with you, little Jesse,
is worth a thousand with anybody
I have no bitterness, my sweet
I'll never forget this one night thing
Even tomorrow in other arms,
my heart will stay yours until I die
Let me sing you a waltz
Out of nowhere, out of my blues
Let me sing you a waltz
About this lovely one night stand'
